I found a You Tube video that has the perfect intro music I want to use in an iMovie. It's only 51s of the six minute song. I don't know how to get hold of the author. My question is how can I capture this snippet without having to learn some new software program.
Any suggestions . . .

either
1) Download the video as an mp4 by looking up the video file in Safari's "Activity" window (or getting the download Youtube extension for safari if you keep getting the FLV file), import that into iMovie, extract audio, or
2) use Cycling74's SoundFlower to pipe the audio into whatever sound recording application you prefer, or
3) find out what the clip is and buy the damn song (if it's available). Shazam on an iPhone, whatever. Post it here.
What's the link?

Believe me, I would buy the song if I could. Here's the link . . .
YouTube - The Music Of The Little Rascals
It's a for a kids video, a favor for my son.

I downloaded SoundFlower, but it won't even open. I wanted to avoid learning an application for a fifty second sound bite. I just do not understand any of this. I'd gladly pay for the thing if I knew who to contact.
But thanks . . .
