What tech sites do you frequent? There are a lot of great ones out there and ones that I run into randomly that have great content, but sadly I don't usually return to them because they're not well known enough for me to remember. I probably bookmark them but still never go back after my initial visit, and I want that to change. One such site that I've never heard of before and am very impressed with is VR Zone which I found when searching for recent news articles on Ivy Bridge. The article I found is located here: Intel CPUs Overclocked: Sandy Easy, Ivy Easier, Haswell Easiest! by VR-Zone.com
What other sites do you know of that don't get a lot of attention but which have really great technical content?

Ars Technica
appleinsider - less tech than they used to do, but they still dig into some things.
Storagereview - HD and SSD tech.
MacNN Forums - some very knowledgeable people hang out.

I haven't been able to get to Gizmodo.com for weeks (seems to redirect me to the French site, no matter what I do). Fook 'em.
TBH, the sites that harp on about 67GigaMegaHurtz with a bus of blah blah and whatever else don't interest me anymore. Guess I'm just a dumb user.

Oh, cool-I'm still fascinated by microprocessor advances myself. It doesn't get old for me. I'm blown away by how far we've come in, say, the last 15 years, and how fast things are going in computing tech. I love knowing what's coming up-how the latest architectures are performing, etc.

And that's about it. I find myself hanging around strictly tech site less and less and more around sites related to my industry (UX/IA and analytics). Still curious about advancements in technology, but finding I have much less time to devote to keeping up with it.

I visit Slashdot occasionally, but visiting regularly is a let down because they only get around to new stories days after Ars Technica or Engadget have already covered them. And while Slashdot has a reputation for highly-knowledgable people in their discussions, I find Slashdot is really filled with morons, with the smart people only showing up rarely.

Ahh, see that's your mistake. You read it for news and not entertainment
When it comes to more mainstream stories you are right that it takes a day or two before they pick it up, but I still check it often for the obscure math and science stories that nobody else seems to cover at all.
