Exactly. Unlike some people that think there's some kind of "design flaw", it looks like there wasn't ever a flaw to begin with. I haven't heard of a single incident in weeks.
Conclusion: bullshit

Third person, passive-aggressive condescension, that's the reason you bumped this thread? You're unaware of it, but you've pinned your own self-worth on to what are, ultimately, unimportant tech trinkets, made by a mega corporation that doesn't give a dog's bollocks about you. No matter how many more incidents there are, like Spheric's friend experienced, it wouldn't matter to you. Because, as was pointed out in the Google thread, you have no intention of seeing any point of view that isn't 100% supportive of Apple's products and policies.

A handful of people discovering things that might better not be done with it do not a design flaw make.
And arguing in favour of this viewpoint does not a blind faithful Apple fanboy make, no matter how eloquently and assertively the usual character-assassination ad hominem argument is made.

I think it can now just be officially called part of the iPhone rollout process.
Step 1: Rumors and speculation circulate about the next iPhone
Step 2: Images get leaked or fairly accurately rendered
Step 3: The phone is announced to great fanfare
Step 4: People camp out in front of Apple Stores
Step 5: Mad torrent of posts, articles and tweets sharing "I got my new iPhone"
Step 6: "XXX-gate" scandal
Step 7: Scandal blows over, people get on with their lives, apple continues to sell millions more phones around the world

Had mine for a couple of weeks now. Still flat, still the best iPhone I've ever owned.

On a positive note, the bend isn't along the volume buttons?
