Tablet and accessory maker E Fun will be showing off several new products at CES this year. Among these will be Nexturn, a range of home automation products in kits or a-la-carte, and NextOne, a wrist-worn fitness tracker. The Nexturn line represents the company's entry into the home automation line with a variety of app-controlled products and systems. The Nextone is also meant to be the first of a new range of fitness trackers for the company.

The first of the Nextone line to be announced tracks steps, estimated calories, distance, sleep quality, and heart rate. It comes with four interchangeable silicon wristband which have an IP54 rating (meaning it is essentially but not totally dustproof, and only water-resistant -- able to survive being constantly splashed with water for roughly five minutes before water starts to make it inside and interfere with its functions).

The NextOne also has 4GB of onboard storage and a built-in microphone. Users can sync the device up to Android or iOS smartphones via Bluetooth to receive notifications of calls, and alerts on the OLED display. It will be available this March for around $70.

The Nexturn system will be available in a selection of three Gateway kits (priced from $160, $200, and $300) with all of the elements available for purchase separately (priced from $10–$80). The Nexturn+ app will be available for both iOS and Android platforms.

While a number of home monitoring systems involve a monthly subscription fee, using Nexturn's 128-bit SSL-encryption and PKI-based key exchange secured system won't cost anything extra. The only cost is in purchasing the Gateway kit, and however many door/window sensors, smart plugs, smart bulb converters, wireless switches, and Wi-Fi Cameras are needed to outfit the home, office or building.

That smart plug is reminiscent of the memo gen 1 plug.. Why is it so HUGE?
