What are yours?
Mine are that Hillary is *WAY* more knowledgeable about most issues, particularly foreign affairs, and will try to school Trump in citing facts and showing general comfort in this subject matter. Trump will go after her character, focus on corruption, or poke rhetorical holes in these ideas without offering much in the way of specifics.
I'm not sure this will work for Trump because if Hillary sticks to putting the focus on the issues and stressing conversation be focused around the issues, he simply can't compete with her. My prediction is that this will be Hillary's approach, and that if Trump can't demonstrate that he can do the job, Hillary will get some sort of polling bump post-debate. At this point I'm thinking that the population might need more in the way of specifics, and not just trusting that Trump will surround himself with great advisers. They'll need to know what they are buying, other than just not-Hillary.
But we'll see. All of this will depend upon a lot of things and how well both sides execute, of course.

Hillary will spend most of her time trying to piss off Trump. Trump will remain cool because he will have Gennifer Flowers sitting in the front row.

If the debates spend any time on real issues or policies Clinton will eviscerate Trump. Trump will try to turn the debate into a circus at every turn. If he succeeds then America the world has a big problem.

Trump just has to look somewhat competent and calm and he'll win, much more is expected of Clinton.

All trump has to do is list all the bad decision Hillary NOW regrets, and show that it is HER PATTERN for the last 40 years.
Add in the LIAR aspect and her nasty personality and she'll be stroking out on the stage.

Why is it ok for Trump to be a much bigger liar (without having even been in power yet)?
I'm pretty sure he's nastier than she is too.

BIGGER LIAR THAN HILARY? No such animal exists.
From her shitty excuses about Benghazi being about a video, instead of Hillary and Obama shitty judgement.
They were too afraid to let FACTS OUT before an election. The continual stream if lies about her email server, and about her inability to follow protocols for classified documents. Its been a stream of lies for decades. Why are liberals so easily fooled by her? Gullible and naive?

This, and it is Clinton's biggest weakness going in - everyone expects her to do well, so if she does, it won't bring a boost. She can only lose on her own - for her to "win", yes scarequotes, Trump needs to mess up.
Trump's biggest weakness is the need to look "presidential". If he starts with the silly quips, he risks alienating people on the fence.

Honestly, Hillary's best play would have been to claim she won't "share the stage" with a "racist, misogynistic scumbag", and done a proper press conference in front of a more open gathering, outlining her policy as president. Then go on to place the Trump campaign entirely on ignore for the rest of the election. Sure, Trump's faithful would have a cow and scream, but they won't vote for her anyway and her team would keep the press in line. She'd win, though the precedent she'd set would further cripple an already weakened process (not that she'd care). There's no upside to these debates for her, unless Trump really screws the pooch.

You sure about that?
On the weekend leading up to 2016's first presidential debate, four news organizations came to a similar and sweeping conclusion: Donald Trump lies more often than Hillary Clinton.
In a normal election year this would be extraordinary. On Sunday editors and reporters at the newsrooms used another word: necessary.
The New York Times story — "A Week of Whoppers" — came out first on Saturday. Politico, The Washington Post and The Los Angeles Times all followed within hours.
Several of the editors who were involved said the timing was a coincidence. But there was clearly a desire to publish stories before Monday's debate, when Trump and Clinton's truthfulness will surely be at issue.
"Never in modern presidential politics has a major candidate made false statements as routinely as Trump has," the L.A. Times declared on page one of Sunday's paper.
Politico Magazine's team analyzed every statement made by both Trump and Clinton for five days and said "the conclusion is inescapable: Trump's mishandling of facts and propensity for exaggeration so greatly exceed Clinton's as to make the comparison almost ludicrous."
The words "almost ludicrous" ricocheted around Twitter.
Politico found that Trump averaged "one falsehood every three minutes and 15 seconds over nearly five hours of remarks" while Clinton averaged one falsehood every twelve minutes.
Overall, the news outlet counted 87 "misstatements, exaggerations, falsehoods" from Trump and eight from Clinton.
The Times counted only Trump's "biggest whoppers," 31 of them, while skipping "dozens more."
All four of the newsrooms distinguished between the kind of misstatements Clinton makes and the kind Trump makes.
"Clinton has made her share of questionable claims," the Post said, but Trump "at times seems uniquely undeterred by facts."
The Post said Trump "continues to rely heavily on thinly sourced or entirely unsubstantiated claims."
The four stories were welcomed by the Clinton campaign; aides cited the statistics in television interviews on Sunday.
However, there is no indication that the Clinton campaign was involved.
The weekend America's newspapers called Donald Trump a liar - Sep. 25, 2016
And from earlier in the election season ...
PolitiFact | Comparing Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump on the Truth-O-Meter
But I suppose all of that won't register with you at all because anything coming from the "liburl media" no matter how FACTUAL can overcome your Clinton Derangement Syndrome (CDS).

I think he exposed some vulnerabilities that Hillary will take advantage of too. He spent a lot of time defending his company and his wealth to levels of specifics that I don't think most people care about, to the point where it seemed vain and self-absorbed. Did anybody else feel that way, or was this just me?

I'm also surprised Hillary didn't talk about the wall or the costs of it, and that Trump didn't spend more time talking about her emails, which might be his most effective weapon.

Trump missed on opportunity when the cyber security question came up. He could have drove home the lack of security on her home server and that many of her staff had their accounts hacked.

Would have, could have, should have. The fact is that everyone knows these are Clinton's weak points, and so does Trump. He just wasn't competent enough to take advantage, and the fact that this doesn't appear to bother either of you is startling.

Trump has spent his entire life running a company of which he was in sole charge with no congress or senate voting on his decisions. He took his $100m in 1978 and wasted every moment since on stupid ventures the sum total of which have earned him ~20% less than he would have earned just investing his $100m and the subsequent profits in the first place and spending his life at the beach. (Might have saved himself another few million in fake tan too). And thats assuming he has as much money as he says, which he invariably doesn't, probably by a yuuuuuge degree.
During the course of these business dealings, his Steaks failed, his bottled water failed, his vodka failed, his airline failed, his mortgage company failed, his fake university scam failed, the multi-level investment scam failed, and 6 hotels/casinos declared bankruptcy. Again, these ventures all directly conceived, intitiated, approved, implanted, and ruined by Trump personally, with no political infighting for him to have to deal with along the way.
He outsources everything to exploit cheap foreign labour while decrying others who do the same.
He spent tens of thousands of charity money on self portraits, and took credit for other people's charitable donations to actual causes.
He also still decides to leave the house every day with his hair looking like that an inch of emulsified Cheeto dust smeared on his face.

At least he took the risk. Clinton is ALL about corruption. Trump is gambling, and he will win some and lose some. Your OBVIOUS bias makes your opinions as worthless as OAW's.

I'm biased but you're objective I suppose? Thats even more ridiculous than anything Trump has claimed.
Good businessmen don't gamble. They make money because they're good. You don't even have to be that good when you have a lot of money to start with. You just hire someone good to make money for you. He didn't even succeed in doing that. After thirty years of trying. Wait, isn't that his plan for how to be president? Hire people who know what to do? So not only is he unqualified, he is proven to be unable to even hire the right people to do a job for him. Maybe its because they suspect they won't ever get paid.
Trump is an incompetent egomaniacal blowhard conman. Anyone who votes for him is an idiot.

Good businessmen and women make mistakes all the time, but they are self-confident and introspective enough to acknowledge these and move on, learning from these mistakes.
Trump doesn't seem to learn from his past mistakes because in his mind he never makes any. This was something I hated about W Bush too.

I feel the implementations of the concept were vastly different between the two.
Bush behaved that way because that's the way he thought he was supposed to act, while Trump is overcompensating.

No, she's doing what works. Most people don't watch the debates all the way through, but they will see a soundbite here and there.
