So the banner ad seems to always try to auto connect to a porn site.
It's been trying to do something for weeks or months, and I always just hit cancel, but I hit the wrong button a few times and BOOM, graphic porn site.
What the heck, yo?

Clear your browser history. If you are getting anything that has to do with ads on this site then they are targeted which is cookie based.

I like my water with hops, malt, hops, yeast, and hops.

Why does my banner ad keep trying to connect me to an ISIS dating app?

There is no actual banner ad, but some sort of code that's running on this site is trying to launch a pop up that is a porn site.

I've opened it in three different browsers with adblocking on/off, and I can't get it to replicate said behavior.
Strange stuff...

I turned off all blocking in Firefox, everywhere for a week now. Still haven't seen anything on 'NN. Granted I haven't been testing with other browsers. But something should have turned up.
I'm leaning back to the ISP ad-injection theory. I routinely browse with a VPN ever since the FCC rescinded the privacy rules. I trust the VPN to deliver plain service more than trustyCharter, the ever-bigger cable company.
