The original Ti was "Mercury" but everyone just called it Ti since that fit so well and clearly distinguished it from previous 'books.
Now there are two Tis. "Ti2" is boring. Imagine if the G3 series had been G3-1, G3-2, etc. instead of(Kanga), Wall St, Lombard, Pismo.....

Did Apple have a codename for the ne wTi, or are we going the way of the iBook crowd, which never uses a codename but rather phyiscal descriptions (Firewire iBook, dual USB IBook, yawn)?

and the new dual ibooks are P92 I guess...
get mactracker, cool sutff..all of Apple devices with specs and codenames.
