Don't know yours, so I'll add one of my own. One of my favorite albums I have.

1997

This one is probably easy for some people, but I guess they all could be easy for some.

I think I'm gonna start that up too. It's very good. I wonder what the final will sound like (we probably have different versions, too).

Here's another. I changed it a tad to make the name unreadable.

1997

It's more my friend's than mine, but I don't mind it. It's good; I just never choose to listen to it.

Wait a minute. You mean the "slightly deformed" meant he totally fusked with it? Oh, I didn't know we were suppose to mess them up!! Next time I'll do better.

not familiar with that one, xeo is it good?

I agree with you on the bjork thing. i see different versions "flying around". however, you can check it (partially). the full lyrics are online already here

also the new artwork looks very cool (wouldn't expect anything different though)

hint for "orange" album: it's a dutch band, they also we're succesfull in the USA.

The black one is the second version of "Smell the Glove" by Spinal Tap. In the movie, the record company wouldn't release the original cover (something about a women on a dog lease), so they substituted the all-black cover.

At first, I thought it might be Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here", which was originally released with an opaque wrapper. However, I think it was a dark blue color, not black.

Right, the original cover of "Smell the Glove" had a picture of a woman on her hands and knees on a leash smelling a glove held out by her "master."

Nigel and the boys couldn't understand why it was offensive to women...of course they couldn't understand why they got little tiny Stonehenge figures, either!

"Smell the Glove" Spinal Tap...

And technically, the white one is "The Beatles" by the Beatles.... of course it did have little grey text on it (I think the vinyl version was embossed white on white) saying that...but that would have spoiled the fun.

Well, the one posted a few message ago is Matthew Good Band's Underdogs. Good album. Nothing revolutionnary, but a few great songs. For those who've never heard about them, well, they're Canadian. So stay ignorant if you want to

The CD with the alternate cover is good for a little fun at your nearby record store:

BTW, here is the cookie for the guesser of my album:

(C)

Just copy and paste as you need. This works on the honor system, now, so you just keep that in mind..

Yep, that was mine. The one with the man in the tux and the woman in the pink dress on a blue background.

That's not fair though, because you're Canadian. Cheater.

that's 0 for 2

The second may be a little unfair because they're a relatively unknown canadian folk/rock band (kinda like The Barenaked Ladies... whom they used to play with... but less popish and more folkish).

But the first one is a very well known punk band (in the US anyway)... I'm only gonna give a clue on this one if you really need it.

Well it's the latest by Rancid! I think it's simply called Rancid.

But the other... Damn... Canadian folk? I should know them... Bush maybe? But don't ask for the album name

Hey, he said "for the first I guess" and you said the first was Rancid. The second was Fr. Technically he was wrong then...

You've given it away now!
