Are people just comatose with the heat wave that spreads across the country? On vacation? Are people not having any problems with their systems?

This has come up in this forum before and I didn't want to believe it. I visit this area frequently, several times every day, and am quite certain when I say that this forum is dead.

I enjoy MacNN and find the reporting very useful but I am disappointed with the activity, or lack thereof, in this forum. There are plenty of other resources for Linux on the Mac to be found, I visit them too, but I have hoped that the sort of people that read MacNN would offer better resources and insight in this forum than I have seen recently.

It remains to be seen if this forum will be able to regain its usefullness. One hopes.

i still come to this forum
i just dont have much to post here
im sure it is the same for everyone else
plus with osx, most of my troubles with stuff is for both
like settin up virtual hosts in apache
or
terminal problems
or
some other *nix (linux or osx)

and the osx forums have much more people to suggest fixes for my problems

except for the virtual host thing, still need to figure that one out

i think there should be a way to boot into linux with classic, now that would be sweet, it could be another compatability layer
w3rd..
