I have 5 mac OS-extended partitions

My main system partition (1st partition, 5GB) for OSX & 9.1 has a mere 881 MB of room left in it. Am I required to use that partion to install all or part of SuSe?

(I'd prefer not to if possible)

Also I have read in other threads that I will need some UFS partitions. Can I reformat existing Mac OS extended partions to UFS without reformatting the whole disk.?

[I've checked the SuSE site and FAQ, but not much help there.]

Thanqs

I have SuSE on my G4. You need to use the Apple formatter to make a 30
meg HFS partition for the suseboot folder which is on CD1. Then you need
to make 2 A/UX partitions, one for swap and one for the / partition.
Then boot SuSE from the CD and proceed with their installation. With
Apple's formatter, I think you select a specific partion which is HFS+ to
re-partition.
