I was thinking of putting Linux PPC onto my G4 with MacOS X. I was wanting to know how I would pick between OS's. Would it be possible to have the same "keep down alt on start-up" as I do know with OS 9.1 and OS X. I know that it may seem a bit strange wanting to have linux and OS X but it's because OS X as far as I can tell doesn't support X windows on it.
Thanks,
Stefan

Go to sourceforge.net and look for XonX to run X windows under OSX. Last I heard , even the GIMP works now.....

Just use the option key as you cold boot..the firmware will pause and allow you to slect which bootable partition to use.

Are you sure that it doesn't work. I had to update my firmware before it would work.
