Is it possible to create dynamic pie charts and other graphics in Flash MX (not Generator), like you can do in any spreadsheet? Or is Java the best option?

But another thing you can use is a module that works with PHP named <a href="http://www.aditus.nu/jpgraph/" target="_blank">jpgraph</a>.

I forget what the name of the flash is but if you still need it then post and I'll look for it. Another option is to do it server-side if you know JSP, PHP, whatever...

Yes, it's definitely doable.

Like Raman said, I'm sure there are some downloadable ones out there. You might try <a href="http://www.flashkit.com" target="_blank">FlashKit</a>

Here's a PC app that does it:
<a href="http://www.globfx.com/products/swfchartgen/" target="_blank">Swiff Chart Generator</a>

I've been mucking about with this. It's more of a finished product, but you might at least get some useful ideas from it. I'm completely green when it comes to Flash,
but I'm a decent web programmer so this was exactly what I needed.
I've also used ActiveX controls and java, but this seems to me like a better solution for the web.

Hope this helps.
