does anyone here have a job at one of the Apple stores? If so, what do they pay? Do you have to be Mac-literate to work there?

of course you do. A store devoted to Macs isn't going to have someone who doesn't know how to navigate the OS. If you're a good salesperson and learn quickly, then maybe they'd teach you the know-how that someone else might have from Day One. Apple's site has info about working at these stores and the requirements afaik.
