This has been a raging debate with some friends of mine (yeah, we need a life). At least we're all relieved it's NOT Sandra Bullock! The poll consists of the top eight names we've argued over, I'm sure there are other great candidates we haven't thought of. So who do YOU think it should be? Pick your top thee choices...

Note to Babe Tourney Players: Hopefully this poll will carry on, in spirit, the great service that Kitschy brought to the community. Please help me in posting pix of the contenstants

Could there ever be a replacement to Linda Carter? She was awesome, the slow mo bouncing... err I mean running sequences.

Gorn are you going to take over where Kitschy left off in terms of the babe tournies?

Rose Mcgowan!

Jennifer Connelly...maybe (she has distinctive features for the role)...but she's in the Incredible Hulk and probably won't ever touch another movie like that...being an Oscar winner...

First impression is that none of your choices strike me as athletic enough to do an action movie.

Of course, if they do it super campy like the TV show, that won't be a factor. In that case i'd probably go with Rose McGowan. She's got that totally sweet, hottie, might break a nail, bake me a suffle, conservatively dressed, tiger in the sack kinda thing going on.

I think Carrie Anne Moss ("Trinity" from "The Matrix") wins it hands down. If you think about it, she even sorta resembles Linda Carter in the third image below.

Well the voting has slowed up, so time for an assessment.

1st Place:Jennifer Connelly 37%, 13 votes
Ah, JC. Personally I think she would be perfect for the role; 5 YEARS AGO. Today she looks liked the strung out heroine addicts she plays in movies. Oh well. Hopefully The Hulk will return her to B-movie glory, not this Oscar Winner crap.

2nd: Elizabeth Hurley, 26%, 9 votes
I'm surprised Hurley climbed to 2nd. Yeah she's hot, but she's also an icy Brit. Though I can see her workin' that lasso...

3rd: Catherine Zeta-Jones 23%, 8 votes
ZJ seemed to have the strongest support in the forum, yet at the poll people thought otherwise. They must have thought, "How can you trust a Wonder Woman who's married to a dried up lizard like Michael Douglas?"

4th and 5th: Rose McGowan, Rachel Weisz tied at 17%, 6 votes.
Rose is a hot Goth chick, would fill out the costume pretty well. Weisz has a sexy maturity I think the role requires, and showed some good ass-kickage in The Mummy films. However, I think both of them are too short (if we're gonna pick nits)

6th: Eliza Dushku 9%, 3 votes.
Personally I think she'd be perfect; she's hot, she's brunette, she kicks ass. But she is probably a bit too young. Give her 3-4 years...

7th: Katie Holmes 6%, 2 votes.
She's hot, she's brunette. But she the girl next door, not the ass kicking Amazon next door. I TOLD you Redbeard!

8th: Jennifer Love Hewitt 3%, 1 vote.
She's hot, she's got the rack for the costume, and she seems to be taking on some ass-kicking in the new Jackie Chan flick. Too bad she's dumb as a post (the post being a better actor besides).

Good show, all! Maybe time for a second round of Wonder Woman contenders, the winner of which will go against Jennifer Connelly?

Who's Trinity from The Matrix....now we're talking. She's got the looks, the body, and she can kick some ass. I pick her.

[EDIT] oops..didn't realize someone beat me to her up there

Katie Holmes, but she has to train with a football team in order to gain a great deal of muscle.

Don't eat meat? Hmm, how else will you get 4,000 calories a day?

Don't have time for 5 hours of practice? Godammit! Go sprint 10 laps 10 times!
