1)Why are Mac's better than Wintel PC??? One what I have heard is that they have better colours??? But I can't understand it. Colours are colours!

2)Let's imagine that I would like to build up a office which ones job's will be 3D/Video/Graphics Design, Audio Manipulation.
Then why I should build up my office to Mac's.
I'm really newbie about Mac's. I have learned some benefits of them but what are the *real* advantages in proffessional field?
Thank you.

Macs have better color management. Meaning.. what you see on your screen will usually be the output.

Nonono. That's "colors".
As for advantages, see this thread: oh. Wait. Nevermind. I was going to forward you onto your own thread- the "advantages" thread.

OK. I'll just boil it waaay down:
Total Cost of Ownership- lower.
More Mileage out of your equipment.
A platform that specifically targets the Multimedia market (proof on that one is easy- just do a little research on the big and small multimedia houses around the world. You'll see that Mac is the platform of choice. You'd do well to ask professionals in that field why they use Macs. They will tell you. Audio Manipulation? Ask Moby. He'll tell ya.
Reliability of equipment and ease with peripherals.
One word (ish like thing): XP. And THIS is that M$ throws to the graphics market?!?
And, of course, COLORS!

I'm going to pull your head off because I don't like your head.

Mmmm. My first language is not English. But this thing took me back behind to dictionary. There I see, it is written COLOURS. Do Crocodil from Australia, McDonald clown from America and Mr Bean from UK write colour/color different way???

According to Webster's New Universial Unabridged Dictionary, it is spelled...

C O L O R

Thank you, that should sum it up.

Blame it on Noah Webster himself. He took a few liberties when writing the dictionary in the first place, possibly to simplify certain spellings. There have been other threads on this here, but I'm too lazy to search for them.

The Oxford Concise Dictionary is the correct one. Webster is a hack. Colour is the correct spelling in all the commonwealth countries England, Australia, NZ, Canada and.. is that it?

the language is called English, therefore the English spelling is correct.
