For those of you lucky enough to work in an office with Aeron chairs, which size are they (or which do you prefer)?
I fall in the "B or C" range, so I have no idea which would be preferred.

What is your weight and height? Maybe I could suggest which one is better.
I'm weighted at 165 pounds and 5'11". Chair "B" is the best choice for me.

Go for a B. Sounds like you are fairly slim. The C just gives extra width, and wouldn't fit you very well.
I have used all 3 sizes before. The B is the best.

Thanks for the advice. How tall are you, though?

Back in the days of milk and honey (i.e., when I was employed), I treated myself to an Aeron for my HOME office. Size B is what I ended up getting, and it works perfectly for me.
My height is about 5' 7", and weight ranges from about 160 (back when I had the job and could afford the gym) to nearly 180 (now). Works just great.

I haven't decided yet. My boss is attempting to get me the same deal he got ($650 from a local place). Or, I can get one on eBay for around $600, but with up to $100 shipping. Or, I can just break down and order one direct from Herman Miller for $800 shipped.

The cheapest I've seen them on eBay is $600. Or, you can get a $250 clone.

where are the clones? Not as high a quality, but I'm sure it's better than my "office depot closeout" chair that I am repeatedly replacing.

So the big thing in seating seems to be the Aeron chair... but what about the Freedom chair? Has anyone used one of those? My friend worked at Design Within Reach, and got to use one of these chairs. He said it was more comfortable than the Aeron. According to him it was the most comfortable thing he's even had the pleasure to sit on. Here's the link. It's more expensive than the Aeron, I wonder how they compare.

I own a C size and purchased it off of ebay about two years ago. I couldn't dream of working in anything else. I've owned probably about 4-5 Office Depot type swivel crap chairs in my day, and finally decided to buy a real chair.
The Aeron is awesome - still in great shape after 12-hrs a day use for 2 years.
I'm 6 foot 4, so I opted for the C size. Works great for me, and I don't have a fat ass.

I went for a C. (6.3-160)
What a fantastic chair.
The only problem? The dust. It really attracts dust.

OK, so it's not just me. Mine attracts dust, mostly on the lumbar support cushion thingy in the back.

The same here. And it's really funny dust too. Must be because of the net-like structure of the material they used.

Thanks for all the posts, folks.
I found a local 'expensive furniture' store that carried Aerons, and got to sit in both sizes. I ended up buying the size C.
I pick it up tomorrow.

Room and Board? Tell us how you like your chair. You've inflamed serious Aeron lust in me.

Ha, yep, that's the place. They're a pseudo-national chain, right?
And I like a quite a bit. There's about 900 adjustment points on it, so it took a while to adjust it to be comfortable at my "L" desk. But, I know tomorrow, when I wake up, the netting will be matted with cat hair.
I *REALLY* needed a new chair, though:
OLD:
(You can't really tell, but: the set cushion is ripped, the set padding is 'dead', the bolts holding the arm pads on are loose and poking INTO the pads, the bolts holding the arms on the chair are stripped and barely stay in their holes, 2 of the wheels fall off if you pick it up, the 'leaning' action squeeks like there's no tomorrow, and there isn't a single adjustment on the entire thing.)
NEW:
