I think they did find earth at the end of Battlestar Galactica. Also believe it or not when Battlestar Galactica first premiered I saw it in a theater, not on TV. I was very young, but I do distindtly remember seeing it in a movie theater. I don't know if it was just certain theaters, but one theater nearby used to premier TV premier movies. I also saw the premier of Buck Rodgers in the 24th century in an actual movie theater.

That said, I'd love to see a more modern version of 'Galactica, it was a great TV series (although it's last season kinda blew chunks).

Although it's not sci-fi, I always thought a spoofed-up version of Gilligans Island (sorta like the way they did The Brady Bunch) would be cool.

24.

After Jack's day is over (read: season), a few movies about his other adventures at CTU would rock. Don't really think they could pull off another 24 hour crazy day though.

Family Guy. Now that South Park has made a movie, Family Guy is the only TV comedy that could really benefit from the greater freedom of movies. Especially since it's currently in limbo.

Battle Star Galactica was a feature length film that spawned a tv series same thing with buck rogers. The BSG movie was horrible I rented it a while back based on my fond childhood memories of the movie and may I say that I think it is best to let memories remain that way.

I believe that they should make ALF into a movie man that was the greatest sit com of all time.

Now that I've had a little more time to think about this one, I've always felt that The cult classic Brittish Series "The Prisoner" would make an absolutely awesome movie (possibly even a trilogy or something). I've actually been thinking this for a long time, it just wasn't at the front of my mind when I posted earlier. I mean they did "The Fugitive". A Prisoner movie would be great. I'd highly recommend the TV series to anyone that's never seen it. It was like a psychological drama of sorts with one continuous plot spanning something like 15 episodes. At the end the whole storyline wraps up ina way that just made me go "whoa!!"

Brisco County Jr. would be a damn good movie, plus what's-his-name was killer in Evil Dead and Army of Darkness.

You have to be f***ing kidding me!!! This would be so horrible!! Have you ever seen the CGI animations that they do before reruns of the animated series? Or what about that crappy BeastWars show they do? Is there any way they could do more insult to the series than to do a CGI version of it?

I think a live action movie would be far better option. Costumes could be used for the robots, real cars for the vehicles, and CGI to do the transformations. The story lines and setting for TF is just far to serious to have it take place is a bubbly shiney CGI world. I don't even think a top-notch studio such as Pixar or Dreamworks would be able to pull it off.

And to answer the original question I would most like to see a Big Screen version of Buffy the Vampire Slayer based off of the current series (I belive this is supposed to be in the works somewhere).

The property has become so much more since Luke Perry did his bit with it.

A historically inaccurate retelling of a very unimportant week in the life of George Washington starring Louis Ruykeyser.

Either that or Another Week with Sam & Cookie -only this time they have automatic weapons. Peter Jennings on crack? Is he really? You sure? Well blast him Cookie. Are you still ALIVE! Sam?

I know I'm coming in out of the blue, and knowing nothing about Transformers I can't say much, but I can say this: CGI does not necessarily mean it will look 'bubbly shiney'. If you've seen Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, you should know it's possible to for CGI to look truly gritty, dark, massive and truly larger than life. Then again, Square Pictures is mostly defunct, or so I've heard, and I don't know what's become of their 'hyper-real' technology and style.

Simpsons

Alias

Futurama

Airwolf

Battlestar Galactica - let them find Earth (I know they found earth in the spinoff Galactica 1980 or whatever it was called, but they could say it was a dream sequence, like they did for Dallas back in the 80's)

Baywatch (Imagine those slow motion, beach running scenes by those hot babes on the BIG screen... to make it even better, leave out any plot, dialogue, and David Hasselhoff.)
