I had thought that this technology was called "Inkwell", but now, on Apple's "A look inside Jaguar" page, only "Ink" is mentioned.

Did this get changed for some reason, or was I just hallucinating the name Inkwell?

You can never have too many Macs.

It was called Inkwell back in the Newton days. This is an old technology that has been brought to the Mac OS under the alias "Ink".

Er... not really.

Rosetta was the name of the recognition engine. The first time I ever saw the word 'Inkwell' was a MOSR report from a couple of years ago that first leaked this.

-Newton 2x00 owner from the month they were released
-Newton 130 owner before that
