I can control-click and bring up the customization menu, but I can not drag anything onto the toolbar! For example - in Chimera, I tried to customize and move the items around. I tried all kinds of things and apparently either option-click or cmd-click will remove the item from the toolbar. So now I'm stuck without a location field in my web browser! I tried unplugging my trackball and using the hockey puck, but it didn't help. I haven't tried uninstalling the Kensington software yet - have to wait for a reboot for that.

I forgot.

I also have a Sonnet tempo ATA/100 card (not currently used), a firewire card, Sony DVMC-DA2, USB scanner (unsupported) and a Palm (USB).

I don't know if any of these matter, but it's always worth mentioning what's connected.

I just tried in Chimera with no problems. For Finder windows, just drag your icon to the title bar and wait for a few seconds. The other icons will move out of the way for you.

Thanks. I should have been a little more clear - I've been using OSX since public beta. I know very well HOW to customize the toolbars, the problem is that since I upgraded to Jag, I can't do it anymore. I can get to the customize toolbar dialog, but nothing will drag up to the toolbar. I also noticed that text selected with the mouse won't copy/cut/paste.
