Okay, that's strange, I just read that The Plan doesn't get released until the 27th, but they were on the new release rack as soon as you walked in the door. Score!

Not that I've seen it or anything....
but my wife and I both kind of think (thought) it was dull and pointless.
Not like I would ever download it or anything.

Just rented it on netflix. What a great little movie for a great damn series.

Isn't it funny that Starbuck is a woman this time?

Does this series take place in the past or the present or the future?

I aways assumed that Caprica would include the first Cylon war and end with it. What the frack else would they do for 4-5 years? (I'm assuming a 4-5 year story arc.)

I thought the Cylon war lasted 10 years.
Caprica is supposed to be the lead up to the war. I think they are assuming a 3-4 season run max to tell that story.
There are still tons of questions Caprica can answer. Like are all the cylons just mindless robots or are they actually all reborn avatars? Even then why would they kill all humans?

Spoiler...
Actually no that comes MUCH (about 20 years) later. They wouldn't have made any of the 12 models until after the BSG movie Razor as the cylons only ended the war when the final 5 gave them resurrection in exchange.

That doesn't mean they weren't trying the whole time, and it doesn't mean that nothing from their years of trial and error would make it into the final product

Well by razor they only had some pretty shifty looking models so unless they are robots covered in skin we shouldn't be seeing any of the 12 models soon.

Unless they had the avatars from the start, and spent the whole 20+ years just trying to find organic bodies for them to get stuffed into

That's what I was thinking, they were just knocking around in V-world trying to find a way back out.
