But, yes...I love the album. They're totally blatant about the fact that it's an 80s revival album, so they dove headfirst into synths and senseless fun.

*bump—again*

For once, a bit of variation. Haven’t had the time to listen to much music this past week, so the numbers are quite low; but it’s definitely been completely random (with the exception of one day of non-stop Sigur Rós, obviously).

Also, how the hell is this possible:

Summertime brings out the summer toonz.

Oh bloody hell, the random URL happened to contain a variation of a swear word (f-u-k-k). And I can't post it. WTF?

That would still mean that both I and the other listener (whoever that is) just happened to have both listened to this same song within the last however-many hours.

And now, nearly 24 hours later, it still says the same.

Erik: Ive heard of exactly two of yours. Incubus and Sigur Rós (duh).

Yes...that's Elmo. I showed some people some hilariously suggestive lyrics in one of his songs.

Hmm. Not terribly reflective of my general listening habits, but more of my gym ipod listening habits. These are very different.

You listen to Sufjan Stevens while at the gym?

Isn’t that sort of counter-productive?

That's obviously one of the songs that wasn't part of the gym list. In fact, the whole list seems weird.

Depends on whether or not you like his style. Not everyone's going to like him. He's a bit poppy, with a little soul in his voice. Actually, a few of his newest songs (like "Make it Mine" and "Butterfly") have a 70's funk sound, with a horns section popping and everything, while most are still more acoustic guitar-driven.

I'm not a massive fan or anything, but he has some pretty good stuff.

My excuse?
Coversutra doesn’t scrobble my iPhone’s tracks (50% of my listening happens there) and I was checking out the new Pink album on the mac.

I usually use my iPhone to play music when riding my bike, so this isn't entirely accurate.
I like my water with hops, malt, hops, yeast, and hops.

I'm taking another crack at it, hoping Skitch doesn't decide to put **** or **** in the middle of my URLs again:

Now what's really revealing is if you look at my last three months:

It is quite obvious that my girl friend have way too much control over what's played at my house/car.

Yeah. He's sort of like David Gray crossed with Craig David and some Jamiroquai for good measure. Not as bad as it sounds

Oh yeah, he also hit mainstream recently if these things bother you

iScrobbler.

Just recently found out it is automatically scrobbling my iPhone tracks now without having to hit "Update iPod" everytime I connect.

Works fine, thanks. I just hope Coversutra adds iPod scrobbling so I don’t need both apps installed.

Other question: Does anyone know good albums with a complete storyline?

I really love A Grand Don’t Come for Free for that reason but haven’t found similar Albums since. There was a loose story behind many them but none of them was quite as obvious and awesome.

I used to listen to Everclear a bit in the 90s until I heard them live. It ruined them for me from that time forward.
