This will be crap.

What we really need is a Trek film which has Sisko coming back from wherever he's got to and kicking Breen butt. Not another bloody prequel.

A DS9 followup to the events after "All that you leave behind" would be great. I always figured they'd deliver a TV movie or something within 10 years.

I am so glad I have no idea what you people are talking about.
"Everything's so clear to me now: I'm the keeper of the cheese and you're the lemon merchant. Get it? And he knows it.
That's why he's gonna kill us. So we got to beat it. Yeah. Before he let's loose the marmosets on us."

I don't remember where I read it but the producers and cast of DS9 said that the chance of a DS9 movie is 0%. DS9 was always considered the bastard child of the franchise and was never really liked by the studio.

Well it certainly did glorify that which Roddenberry wanted no part of -- space battles.

Gotta agree. I like being able to catch random episodes of any shows and not worry about being caught up.

Well, I'd like a plot occasionally.

I just had visions of Picard and Kirk making their way through an exotic planet.
And Spock found a new use for his ears.

I hear this is going to be a reboot with time travel or something else that has been done a billion times. Reboots are great. They're like someone coming over to your house and treating you as the guest. You know where everything is and what everything does but somehow you're still going to sit there and be given an introduction to everything you already know or don't give a **** about any longer.

"And this is why Spock has pointy ears"

"This is why Batman looks like a bat"

Reboots are great.
