Those are supposed to be 3 deer antlers, which are a part in the coat of arms of Baden-Wrttemberg, the state Stuttgart is capital of. The Porsche logo was conceived in 1952 and is basically a combination of the coat of arms of Stuttgart (the black horse on a yellow shield) and BW, which had a slightly different version back then:

Also, if you look at the St. Pauli photo, you'll spot a version of the Hamburg coat of arms. It's all very traditional over here

Uhhhh...

New Hampshire....

Hockey: Manchester Monarchs- LA Kings Farm Team
Baseball Team: NH Fisher Cats- Toronto Blue Jays team
College Hockey: UNH Wildcats, Dartmouth Big Green
Arena Football: Manchester Wolves

But all the pro teams generally hail from Massachusetts...

Can't really think of a pro football team I might root for...

My license plate says "GO-PATS", but it's just not coming to me...

This 1984 picture is from a Matchbox Hotweel county championship that I won! The kids were lucky though because I had to leave the country and couldn't stay for the Georgia state championship!

I just googled Bruce because back then I didn't even know who I was standing next to - I thought he was some Toys R us employee...

Damn he looks old now (and so do I)!

Local team: Maynooth Town FC. Amateur leagues, no stadium, just a pitch and some benches

Not so local team: Kildare FC. Division 1, semi-pro, cruddy stadium, no support.

Even less local team: St Patricks Athletic, Premier League, professional, decent stadium, decent support. Evil, evil, evil people though...
Refusing to resign myself to using an Apple full time - cost so far: 152 for a new hard disk for my Vaio, 10 for new IDE cables for my desktop.

The bike and some baseball tickets. I sold the bike and gave the tickets to my relatives. I was wondering for a long time what the prize for the state championship would have been because all the other kids didn't have a chance against my heavy Nascar Matchbox model (they all used light F1 and similar race car models)!

Teams:
NFL - Rams
MLB - Cardinals
NHL - Blues (AKA, We've been to the playoffs and sucked more than any team in history!)
NBA - None (They are in the works to get one as we speak though)
Not sure which of the soccer teams are still around (We had Ambush and the Steamers at one point)

(Looking at my teams, they keep going to the playoffs and choking as of late, so I expect that we're on the way out of the good teams for the time being)

Team name: San Antonio Spurs
City: San Antonio, Texas
Sport: NBA basketball

Reasons I'm a fan: Beyond the sheer sport of it, the Spurs have an international appeal, with Manu Ginobli from Argentina (2004 Olympic gold medal winner), Tony Parker (France), Rasho Nesterovich, Benu Udrih, and even Tim Duncan (U.S. Virgin Islands). We even have a local hometown hero, Devin Brown. The beating the U.S. and Texas are taking, especially due to our current administration, make it even nicer to have a team like this. And they show such character and sportsmanship amid all the ugliness in this particular league.

That said I can't stand Belichick, I grew up in Cleveland when he was coaching the Browns, and he was awful there. Oh well....
