My wife and I share a forest green 1997 GMC Sonoma 4-cyl (137k miles) and a 2002 gold Ford Focus Wagon (33k miles). In 2-3 years the truck will be retired to weekend Lowes, estate (er junk) sale duty, and we'll be getting a Mazda5, Mazda6 wagon, or Element.

My SVX is in a heated storage facility with a bunch of classic cars, including the pacecar from the 1970 indy 500, the 2001 indy 500, and a few prototype oldsmobiles. It's the only foreign made car in there, so I'm sure the other cars make fun of it's goofy windows at night. I haven't driven it since early last august... so... that sucks. I just walk most places, or take the bus. I also occasinally drive my wife's 89 honda accord 5spd, which now has 234,000 miles. Great little engine.

Thanks for the apology. It means a lot to me.

Every thing's good. I no longer work for GM. That will probably make your day.

Nope, just dumbasses. You use a lot of gas and oil for **** handling, acceleration, braking, and poor safety. If you feel like arguing with me, email me. I'll win. Because my pride doesn't get in the way of factual information.

PS: I bet your wife does a lot of offroading too. And you guys probably never drive alone in those things either right? And did you know those things came with turn signals? ****tards.

I can do offroading, haul 1200 lbs of cargo in the bed, and get 21 MPG.

Go Sonoma

Plus I actually need a truck to live.

Speaking of idiots, I still can't get him to understand that not SUV's are gas hogs. Some SUV's only have V-6's, and some cars have 6.1L V-8's in them. Which is worse?

The Legend makes some points about SUV's, and don't misunderstand I agree with some of them, but he's tone is a bit off..

I for one live in AZ, where every other car is a Ford F350 Superduty or GMC 3500 truck, and many SUV's are not content to be stock .. but rather have the lift kits, and monster tires.. How these people pay for their gas, I'll never understand.. but to each their own I guess.. until one of those SUV's with a 5' tall mom yapping on her cellphone and yelling at her kids almost runs me off the road! :wall:

the part that you can't see is that it's a CDI... Diesel..

close to 400 lb/ft or torque, and 231hp out of a straight six 3.2l and I get 40mpg on the highway at 65mph, and 0-60 in under 7 seconds.. Plus "Worlds safes car" assurance.

IT's worth every $ I paid, and more..

hehe, yes, I saw it in your galleries. And such fact -being a Diesel- gives it a great Benz soul, (history fact).

Now certain people is going to start to say how I dislike Diesel engines, but again, yours is a MB, it is top-notch everything. Is just that I would get a petrol engine instead. Personal taste, but if you like Diesel, you couldn't have had a better choice.

Sure it is worth every penny… there is no car like a MB.
