That should bring us over to page 24 I suppose.
Natascha. Definitely. The young Pam Anderson--with the delightfully perky B-cup breasts, normal face, and disease-free body--was awesome. Today's version is blech.

Although for pure beautiful-with-their-clothes-on attractiveness, Salma Hayek gets my vote as the best of the best. To me, she would look equally beautiful in sack-cloth or satin.

If you recall, I asked about him/her posting the opening lines of the Divine Comedy, in particular it was the opening lines from Canto I of the Inferno. Because I am a graduate student in Medieval Literature--focusing on the later period between 1200 and 1450--and who happened to spend all of last semester studying the Commedia, his/her post piqued my curiosity. That is all.

Aha, I see. I thought you were a member there. Sorry.
I hadn't ever read it and for some reason that section just made me think of my life in general at that point in time. No reason other than that and nothing is ever off topic over there, lol. I've been trying to catch up on a lot of things I missed with the shoddy education Indiana gave me, so that's one of the books I'm reading right now. Nothing more, nothing less.

Did you undo my greenness for that quote?
Awesome!

And yes, I do like flapjacks!

Gotcha! But if that quote you posted is from the version your are reading you are missing out on a most excellent verse translation of the Inferno. Check out the John Ciardi translation of the Commedia. He maintains the terza rima rhyme scheme of the original Italian in a modern English translation. You can get it here for $12 or try your local book-store if you want it immediately and don't mind paying a few $ more.
</Medieval Lit-Geek mode>

PS--If you are feeling down about yourself, don't read the later Canto's, especially those dealing with Circles 8 and 9 of the Inferno. It will just make you more depressed and hopeless.

Awesome! Thank you. I was looking at all the different translations, but they all say "blah blah this book is the best translation...", finally just picked one.

Was feeling down, not anymore though. But thanks for the warning had I been.

Oh, and if they expire at the end of the calendar year do you renew them annually for us?
Or, if you are an exceptional fan of the Zimphire, like Ca$h or Ambush, do you get a lifetime membership?

Sadly, I don't think I will ever care enough about you to earn a lifetime membership.
I only care enough to comment when you make illogical or non-rational posts.

You'll have to submit a picture, along with your membership fees of course.
Oh, and if they expire at the end of the calendar year do you renew them annually for us?
When your membership fees get here, you'll receive a new card. Said card is in the process of getting re-designed. We don't know how long this redesign will take. But I doubt any vertical text will be present.
Or, if you are an exceptional fan of the Zimphire, like Ca$h or Ambush, do you get a lifetime membership?
I don't really consider them exceptional fans. Both I still talk to from time to time on a reasonable level on AIM. So they aren't ALL bad. I believe they both just like to create attention online. Maybe?
Sadly, I don't think I will ever care enough about you to earn a lifetime membership.
