Yes, domestic gross for now. WW is behind on international gross for some reason, and I suspect it may have opened quite a bit later on some markets - that is very common for movies that open in the first half of summer. I'm using domestic gross as a sort of leading indicator.
I liked Dr Strange, and it had 90% on Rotten Tomatoes. Figured it was a reasonable comparison.

Dr Strange, like several other Marvel properties, is more of a niche product, the character simply doesn't have as much broad appeal. While a couple who fit that category have been break-out grand slams, like GotG, they aren't the norm. Most are mere double-digit RoI (based on percentile) and "world-builders", Wonder Woman being a character with more universal appeal, and a more broad history (NPI), should destroy almost everything out there.
That's why BvS was such a stinker, it should have destroyed all the records, its pedigree was second to none and the producers had access to the best comic source material ever (Miller's quintessential DKR). Making a live-action, updated version of that (modified to tie into the new JLA franchise) would have earned them all the money, the obviousness pains DC fans and will forever hound the DC cinematic universe.

I agree, WW should do about as well as it appears to be doing. What is interesting is the poor launch weekend and impressive staying power.

She's been banned and boycotted in certain places too, mostly for being Israeli.

Dr Strange was a good comic movie, but I've always been a fan of the Sorcerer Supreme.

Going totally TAN here, but that amulet was revealed to be an Infinity Stone. That makes it 5 we have seen, right?
Tesseract in the first Cap movie
Loki's spectre, mainly in the Avengers movies
The one GotG is playing with in the first movie
The one Thor and his friends gave to the Collector in Thor 2
Strange's amulet
That means one is missing, right? Or did I forget one?

I'm not really a comic guy, and I'm surrounded by DC people, so Dr. Strange is not much more than a name to me.
But, Marvel movies are usually fun and NA makes me predisposed to like Cargill.

Well, if it hasn't showed up, it kinda has to be in that movie, right? There are only three movies left before Avengers: Infinity War, and it does not seem like something you'd put in a Spidey movie. I guess anything is possible for Black Panther as I don't know where they're going with that movie, but given the implication that none of the other stones are on Earth, the next Thor is by far the most likely answer.
Just wanted to know if it was something I had missed.

Spider-Man beat WW for opening weekend. $117M vs. WW's $103M.

and that's still low for a Spidey film.

The woman is truly precious, I can't think of a better role model for girls.

So, apparently Wonder Woman was created because the creator and his wife, both psychology professors at Radcliffe, needed money after getting fired for their group relationship with one of their students... Margaret Sanger’s niece.
The same guy who also invented the lie detector, and did lots of research with a strong focus on domination and submission. In other words, it’s no accident Wonder Woman is wearing a corset, tying people up, and forcing them to submit to her will by telling the truth.

I should mention, in case it came off as seedy, there was a rough patch, but all three stayed together for essentially the rest of their lives. Had like 6 kids.
Also the creator didn’t ultimately consider the comics as him being brought low, but as a way to “popularize” his research, which had a heavy feminist component.

The early stuff was mostly written by his wife. Apart form early conceptual input she did the donkey work for many years churning out stories.
Finally got to see the film. I was surprised at just how dull it all was. The whole middle seemed to sag and give way and the final villain reveal... ummm.
