Or, if you wish to maintain some kind of working relationship with your father, do it the other way around.

Exactly.

Or, if you’re a cop-out, just curse your dad and kick the heavens in the balls (assuming you can find them).

person man, I have had so much problem with the two dimensional metric of "healthy weight" through my life and military career that it is a very sore spot for me. Likewise, "standard" metrics about how fast a person's heart rate should rise for a given amount of exertion failed to accurately measure me-I "activate" very quickly, but only to a set level (I go to about 125-130 at the beginning and stay there), so the Air Force's "bike test" ("thoroughly tested" on about 500 people who were all virtually identical pilot candidates) failed me no matter what I did. When a human overrode the software and saw that I wasn't going to keel over, I passed with flying colors.

So I'm sorry if I sounded like I was laying into you. I was NOT. I was railing about BMI and the OTHER people who mentioned it after your post. It's a ballpark figure at best, and unfortunately there isn't anything better available right now that is both straightforward and easy to explain.

Any software that uses magic numbers to calculate anything is suspect. THAT software was HIGHLY suspect-as was the "people were 'gutting it out' and then keeling over" cover story for adopting that test. I think it was because they spent all that money developing the darn thing (with, as I said, a small and very uniform population of test subjects) so they HAD to field it. The earlier, 1.5 mile run test, by the way, was developed by Dr. Cooper. THAT Dr. Cooper. Tens of thousands of extremely heterogeneous test subjects in basic training, a brilliant physiologist, and real science made that a valid test.
When they implemented the newer "run, weigh, tape" test, at least I got to see some sanity and validity return to fitness testing before I retired.</rant>

She's not "un-pretty." It's just that she doesn't seem to be "beauty pageant" material. She's not just "round," she's overweight. Photogenic, sure. But not pageant material.

So now many of us are thinking "Is she the best looking bird in Surrey?" How did that happen?

Yep, kinda hard to worry about boob size when you're nursing a crushed pelvis.

She's ****ing enormous. Seriously.

There is a huge (pun intended) difference between her and the chick Doofy posted.
Even in that second picture? In the first she's too chunky for me, but I can see how other guys might find it appealing (though I wouldn't touch her with a barge pole) - but in the second she's just *huge*.

Nasty.

Not necessarily. Looking at the pic, you seem to be small-framed compared to me. So, dare I say it, you look... (wait for it) ...fine.

I don't have a full body shot of me losing a volleyball game, so I can't post one to compare with yours.

Oh come on. Yes, she's big, but she's not *that* big. As I said before, if you want big, click on the spoiler tag in my first post to this thread. Now THAT'S huge.

Actually, in the case of Paris Hilton, she really is that skanky.

That's a sorta unflattering picture of her (and I don't know that I would call her full figured), here:
