See? The insanity of this thread is like a black hole, and even the database can't escape its pull.

So, what are you peeved about? That you don't think I had a right to defend myself within the stated rules of posting?

That you don't think I planned it? Or that I didn't plan it far enough in advance?

Or do you just hate me because I'm beautiful?

It's all kind of petty, don't you think?

Actually, I thought the statement was simply funny.

It does not surprise me that with your often rampant paranoia you took it as an insult though.

Here, let me save you the time and make your next post for you:

The other option is that Aberdeenwriter is a joke account shared by Spliffdaddy, Kevin, Cody, and possibly others.

That would explain why he suddenly has no recollection of PMs he himself sent the day before, or posts he's made.

Would also explain the Cody-sucking-off-AW of the olden days, their incredibly similar modus operandi of flamebaiting/flip-flopping/"psychological experiments"/totally inconsistent idiocy.

Of course, it could just be the bi-weekly injection being a little overdue - the thread linked to above, where he completely made up the story about a car-bombing in Florida, was started in mid-month.

I had a drummer once who would start talking with aliens whenever his injections started wearing off. Made complete sense, in a tautological way, too - right down to the aliens appreciating our rehearsal room, 'cause they had a large vacant lot nearby they could land their spaceship in.

His injections were monthly, though, but the effects of the drug wearing off were tangible in a similarly disturbed fashion.

Yes, as I was saying yesterday, Aberdeenwriter is good for getting everyone going. He adds a joie de vivre to this Lounge, doesn't he? That's why he's great around here. He reminds me of Madonna's tenacity; long ago when she was getting started and the biz was buzzing, some people despised her and some people like her, and when asked about the people who really disliked her she said, "You will love me."

Well, a lot of people loved her and some didn't.

If you don't like her or love her, it's fair enough to say that most people RESPECT her.

I do, anyway.

And many of us still don't. But whatever. I would not characterize his impact on the lounge as imparting a "joi de vive." If anything, he just raises blood pressure. I can get that by eating a big bag of salty potato chips while vegging out to inane TV shows. That, at least, would be an enjoyable way to accomplish the same thing.
