(5) By 19 or more but less than 24 miles per hour shall not exceed $150.00; or
(6) By 24 or more but less than 34 miles per hour shall not exceed $500.00.

I wish I lived in Georgia. Here in Minnesota if you go even 1 mph over the speed limit, technically you can get charged up to $100.

It's illegal in TN to go >10mph below the posted speed limit, which on almost all interstates in TN is 70mph. So, they would have been ticketed and fined accordingly.

and yes, my grandmother was ticketed for going 54 in a 70mph zone. Go figure.

Sometimes going significantly under the speed limit (10+ mph) can be more hazardous drivers than going significantly above the speed limit.
