That doesn't make sense, Edward (the vampire) never physically threatens Bella. I really see it more like an adventurous, almost impossible romance. It is a very "Fairy Tale" romance in some way, that is why so many people liked it I guess.

I believe this is an english thread. No, I wouldn't like to sparkle under the sun or hiss a like 5-year-old.
Although he is one of the reasons I read the books -- Bella herself is just banal.
