The only horseshit to be found around here is your willful blindness towards scientific analysis, it's like talking with a Southern Baptist about evolution or climate change.
They signed a RB that never fumbled in college and he didn't fumble for them in 4 years. Keep grasping at straws buddy it doesn't look desperate at all.

and then suddenly developed fumblitis when traded to the Bengals? Yeeeah...

Please, please, please keep defending your cheating, lying-ass football team, it's been hilarious for a while now. And by hilarious I mean sad.

No matter what comes of this, I don’t think I’ll be questioning the Patriots’ legacy. But that’s just one man’s opinion. Football is a profoundly difficult game. You could pair countless quarterbacks with countless head coaches and give them a bag of magic footballs and they’d still struggle to win a playoff game. Tom and Bill have won 20 (a record), with an ever-changing cast of characters in an ever-changing league.
Seriously? In this very thread I said Brady is the best playoff QB in history, he is. He may be a complete douchenozzle with questionable ethics, but he has amazing skill and athletic ability. It's just a shame that he feels that blatantly cheating is just fine and a part of the game. Although it won't damage his legacy, per se (they have his HoF alcove ready for him in Canton), it does further harm his reputation as an active player.

I called it. He and Kraft have been buds for too long to allow for this to interfere with a shot at a SB win, which is why I feel the NFL has become too corrupt to be taken seriously. This isn't just going to affect my watching the game on Sunday, but also my viewership in the future as well. Oh well, at least there's college football (still imperfect but at least they try to enforce their own rules).

Recruiting is the big one there, it's always been a blood bath. However, they (the NCAA) do hand out between 20-30 penalties and sanctions /year for violations, so they do have an aggressive stance on trying to clean it up, though I don't think they'll ever be 100% successful.
Fake classes? You're trying to say that Introduction to Underwater Basket-Weaving isn't real?!? Seriously though, as for ripping off the students, if the kids apply themselves they get a free education (some actually do), plus they now receive allowances, not to mention free room and board. Only the halo schools make out well, most of Division 1A only scrapes by or, at best, makes a modest return. If they allowed for players to make actual salaries you'd have the top 1/3rd of the schools getting all of the good players and the top 20 (or so) pulling the best of the best (all of the 5 stars). It would create an imbalance that would easily dwarf what's seen in MLB, not to mention what it would do to Division 2 and 3 schools. Right now, for the first time ever, we're seeing a degree of parity in NCAA football, smaller schools actually crack the top 20 now (sometimes even the top 10) and even get invited to major bowls (Boise St, Baylor, TCU, the last two were even in the hunt for the playoffs). All of that would be washed away by the powerhouse schools with deep pockets.

Quite honestly, why should I give a shit? You're prioritizing the sport over the people who make it possible. There's also this thing called a salary cap.

On the flipside maybe the NFL doesn't have anything to report besides their own incompetence. Two leaked reports that have been since brought into doubt by other leaked reports are the flimsiest excuse for guilt I have ever heard.
However, if my Patriots actually get you to stop watching the NFL completely I'll count that as a rousing success.

Some schools don't even make enough from their programs to pay their players a moderate wage, something akin to having a full-time job making $15 /hr. Few schools can negotiate $20M TV contracts, or fill an 80,000 seat stadium every game day. Whether you give a shit or not is irrelevant, I'm just explaining why it wouldn't work.

Oh boy, room and board. Because not giving food and shelter to unpaid athletes would be practical.
Room and board is expensive for a mid/lower tier school, they aren't rolling in bucks, and the student can go back and finish their degrees, the credits they attend should still be good for quite some time.

Your Patriots are a disgrace, the worst type of scum in professional sports. But you choose to accept and embrace that, I don't.

You have based your entire judgement on a single, disputed, report from an ESPN writer. From here the media drew a million conclusions, none of which make any sense. Once the Patriots win the SB, and are eventually cleared on any wrongdoing, you'll have only the Kraft Conspiracy to lean on...and lean you shall.
Your team, The Denver Broncos, cheated to win 2 Super Bowls and were fined nearly a million dollars for it, but an unsubstantiated rumor about footballs with imperceptibly less air in them somehow becomes a rallying cry. If this news broke about any other team, literally any other team, it wouldn't have been talked about for more than 20 minutes. Rodgers tries to pass over inflated balls past the refs, past SB winners paid thousands to have others illegal doctor the ball, this very season the Vikings were warned about heating them up on the sidelines (same rule violation) and yet nothing, nothing until the big bad Patriots were "caught."
Disgust mixed with pity != hate, but you do what you need to do.

Eleven of the 12 footballs used in the first half were judged by the officials to be under the minimum of 12.5 PSI, but just one was two pounds under. Many of them were just a few ticks under the minimum.
Thus ended the lunacy that was Deflategate. I feel embarrassed I was initially taken by the sensationalism and awful journalism.
Today will be historic for the sport of football, one way or another.

Oh yeah, Ian Rappaport has said so (another reporter), citing "multiple sources", none of which he's linked to the NFL itself. You do realize that so far none of this has reached beyond hearsay, it's still a case of "my anonymous sources are better than yours".
Heh. If you think sanctions and fines aren't coming from this fiasco, then you're nucking futs.

Weird, on my computer this comes out as "hate hate hate hate hate hate"
How's your team doing Shaddim? Getting shutout in the SB by the 2nd most hated team in sports only themselves to lose by the big dogs of hate has to burn, does it burn? I bet it burns.
