I needed to get mine replaced since it was causing kernel panics, but every retailer I have looked at seems to not have it in stock. Does anyone know of any place that has it in stock? I really need this card because the 9600XT can't do games at decent resolutions and quality very well.

Just order it online, I picked mine up at macmall.com and received it the next day.

I'm a little confused by your wording though. Are you saying the your 9600xt is giving you KPs or you need to exchange an existing X800XT?

No, my X800XT was causing my machine to kernel panic, and when I RMA'd it back to newegg, it was out of stock so they refunded me. I looked at macmall, but it shows up as out of stock there. When I called, they said expected ship date was mid april. Did it show up for you as out of stock as well when you ordered it? Right now I have it on order through ATI direct, and they cant even give me an exact ship date. If macmall is still shipping even with them marked out of stock, I will order it through them.

i ordered mine from macmall but at the time they showed as being in stock, unlike now. i had ordered from ati directly too but that seems to be a waste of time as other online stores seem to get them more frequently. no one seems to have them in stock now, just keep checking owc, macmall and newegg.

I ordered mine at Macmall because it was showing that it was in stock, I also received it the next day. They must have sold out on it. Bummer man.

i dont know if you would be interested in trying your luck on refurbished ones. if you are newegg has them for $390.40, thats over $100 off.

I'd put money down that the refurb is probably my old one. I'd rather get a new retail one.
