It fell behind the printer on the filing cabinet. It would require moving hte printer, filing cabinet, picking the modem that fell up, and then putting it all back, It's still working.
You thing it laying on it's side will hurt anything?

Airport's antenna's are small enough as it is. Being behind a filing cabinet won't help the weak signal out anymore.

Since it's Friday afternoon, I'd leave it there... but I'd probably dig it out on Monday.

Cassandra says: If you don't pick it up, you'll forget about it and then smash it when the time comes to move the printer and/or cabinet.

Small, expensive device dropped where it could be forgotten or squished...<sarcasm=high>NAAAAA, don't bother to pick it up!</sarcasm>

You can probably get by with just moving the printer off the cabinet then scooting the cabinet enough to reach behind it. Hint: I got a wheeled filing cabinet stand for just such eventualities; $10 well spent!

I'm liking the Monday thing.
The cabinet isn't exactly that big though. I could possibly get my kids to help with the moving of it. I just noticed some DVD's on the cabinet, under a ledge thingy, i should watch those.

I say leave it there. It's unlikely that it'll get crushed since you're likely to move the cabinet away from the wall, not towards it. And, if you did move it towards the wall, I doubt you could apply enough force to crush the airport without noticing that it's there before it gets crushed.
