And the reviews suck. Talk about many seconds of delays on VOIP

I downloaded it and tried to sign in on my Skype account.

After trying to sign in for 3 minutes, the app crashed.

So, no, I couldn't try it yet

It does appear to be that bad. I installed it last night and successfully made a Skype call, but now this morning I've tried it about six times and every single time the call is terminated before it ever dials out......... less then ideal to say the least. It's free, of course, so hard to complain too much - I'm sure they'll improve it over time.

Overall, though, I'm quite disappointed with how many apps are making it to the app store with very poor QC - it's rare to download an app that doesn't contain immediately noticeable bugs and require an update within a week or two.

I am finding it hard to believe why ppl are having problem with it..I've tried with two different SIP and it worked first time..tested with backgrounder and it works like charm..

I haven't tested skype yet but for SIP accounts, I can guarantee that it works..

I'm waiting for iCall for VOIP. I can still live without the does-not-run-in-background IM on the iPhone.

After downloading this fring deal, I got caught in a convoluted sign-up account we need your information process and found the whole thing really unnecessary.

And oh.. no Vonage??

I'm glad something like this finally came out.
Though it does have its flaws - namely the echo issue with Skype, it's a start.

It's good for the occasional call, but with a five second skype lag it's not insanely useful (yet).
