Whenever I use the printer setup utility to add a new printer I have a lot of trouble as I often run into this same problem over and over again.

server-error-service-unavailable

This keeps popping up. The Knowledge Database tells me to reboot in 10.4 but that doesn't resolve anything, as restarting the printer is pointless as well.
It's an old HP 812C, but the printer setup thinks it's an 810, i have tried to use the generic drivers (HP) and the Gimp Drivers for the 812C to no avail.
One thing that im seeing for the first time is that the "searching for new drivers" spinning gif keeps on going forever.
This printer worked on my G5 and my even older imac so I really am perplexed as to why it won't work.

Thanks in Advance.
