refresh pages every 3.5.10 mins

I would like to put in a request for the forums.
if possible for the next revision of the forum program that a refresh of every 5 mins or whenever a new post is added to be put on. this would help with people knowing when a new post is added and will eliminate the need to manually refresh the pages to see if any new posts have been submitted.
also, have a little timer somewhere to let people know when the next page update will be
anyone else think this is a good idea or nah?

i changed the sig and saved it in my profile thing and its not showing the 200 wide by 50 tall
