Is it possible to detect when iTunes is importing tracks from a CD? When a track is being imported, the track's time and size are listed as incomplete in the Library (source 1). I have tried to find all tracks with the album whose name = that of the CD (usually source 3), but it seems to hang when I run it. It could be the new version of Script Editor v2, but I'm not really sure.

Basically, I want a script that can run continuously when I am importing to detect if iTunes is still importing. When it has finished a CD, it will return false, and it will send an email to my cell phone. I have a ton of CDs I want to import and I hate sitting in front of my iBook to watch when it's done. Ideas?

How did it come to this? Goodbye PowerPC. | sensory output
