Is there any way to set preferences besie the little transparent bar?

I want slideshow to play pictures in numerical order.
It does not seem to do that
only random.

there also seems to be a slide show limit of 100 pictures or so
cant this be changed

The slideshow feature is far from perfect at the moment - the limit is 113 pictures by my count. No you can't alter the order of loading other than by doing so in the Finder. It seems that the only way to get it to play by alphanumeric order is to first view the folder in column view and then select your images. When played they will appear in alphanumeric (or more specifically numeric-alpha) order.
