Not terribly nice, turtle, but quite accurate. I like the "set of feet" for about $8 from AppleCare myself; if one's come off then the others may be about to let go too.

Which "old version" model of MBP do you have, rich? Mine is a 2006 vintage Core Duo 2.0GHz 15" unit.

If you have an Apple Store nearby (and in you're in London you do) it's worth a try to just go in an ask for some.

BTW Glenn, it says in his signature

You mean I gotta start actually reading? Oh MAN!

Actually I thought of asking that question while composing the reply in "Quick Reply" where only the message text shows. It's obviously a major flaw in my strategy here.

If it's under warranty, they'll give them to you for free.

Nice to see that nothing has changed since I got my TiBook back in 2001. I've had to replace the rubber feet a few times. I finally gave up and went without.

They may just give you some for free anyway. It's one of those parts that doesn't really cost them anything.

When one of my MBP feet fell off, I noticed it on the floor. I pulled all the rest off and superglued them all back on.

My wife and I have the same model older MBP. She is missing 3 feet and scratching things up to no end around the apartment. I have applecare, she doesn't. I wonder if Apple will send me feet for free which I can then use on her computer...

Just keep asking Apple for some of the rubber feets. Maybe Apple will eventual learn to make them stay on better with all the requests.

Wife? When did you get married? Are you still in JP?

I thought the same, I assumed I missed a lounge thread.
I think the answer, and there should be one, should go in the lounge so as not to track this too far away from its original discussion.

Finnnnneeeeeeeeee..... I'll post something in the lounge about it all. I guess it is a long story.

I need some rubber feet. I'll call the English support line here in Japan, see if they'll send me some.
