Yeah, it's firewire so you'd get decent read/write speeds. That capacity gauge just looks sweet!

i'm thinking of getting an external hard drive also, but i'm leaning towards a NAS (network accessable storage) so i can plug it into my network and be able to access it from my clunky windoze desktop (which i still use to download because of the inferior speed of the wireless g compared to plug in ethernet).
