I feel that the backlight of my Powerbook G4 (15" 1.67GHz) is a tad too dim, and I've been searching the web with no luck trying to find information about a backlight replacement.

Anyone know anything about this?

TechRestore - Mac Laptop Repairs used to do it, but I'm not sure if they still do.

I'm not looking for a repair as my Powerbook functions fine. But rather buy a replacement backlight which I can install myself (my PowerBook is out of warranty anyway).
Doesn't seem like the above company sells parts like that, although they have screen replacements which probably include a backlight.
