[drive-thru]

Hi,
I tried to search but came up with nothing (not really sure of the terminology on this one).

I'm going to be working with a photographer in a few weeks for a project I'm doing. I would like to be able to connect his digital camera to my mac and view the photos as they are taken, so that I can decide whether we need to shoot again.

I know I could do this in iPhoto and import after each set of photos, but I was wondering if there was any software out there which would allow me to download the photos on-the-fly.

Any ideas?

The terminology you're looking for is "tethered shooting." Whether or not it can be done depends on the model of camera.

Most of the major brands of cameras come with this software, have him/her bring it along if he/she has it.
