Actually you can see the two in the middle are clearly off by an inch or so

I haven't noticed any problems with the remotes/bluetooth residentEvil.

Nobody ever notices my Star Wars stuff in picture threads. You can see my Episode III poster here. Across from it on the other side of the room I have the Episode III teaser poster. And notice the Mon Calamari action figure behind the PBG4

Heh. The tables look like 1970s teak. Can't get more metro than that. We've got a Danish teak dresser in our bedroom that a neighbor wanted to throw away. I took it off his hands. Similar pieces, in less perfect condition, sell for $500 and up.

You can get them at your local pre-school. That's where we got ours.

It's where all the trend setters are shopping nowadays.

It's actually a combination shaker/mission style. It's oak. Most of it quarter sawn. If it were true Shaker it'd be cherry, if it were true mission it'd have a shelf and slats. I built them to match a mission style chair my wife bought.

I also make them to sell as a side job to pay for my woodworking hobby. But only on commission.

You're saying making your own furniture with hand is lazy and ugly? It probably is more work to go to Ikea and buy something thousands of other people have bought.

I'll have to tell that to my customers.

I'll give you cheap. $1200 for a table saw, $600 planer, $1500 joiner, $150 raw wood. Cheap.

You just keep making pretty web pages that will disappear in two years. I'll build furniture that lasts hundreds of years.

Cool tables there, Railroader. I've always liked Mission and Arts & Crafts furniture because of the clean lines and elegance of design. When I retired, I spent a few months working out some simple bookcases for CDs and DVDs. They turned out to be almost Arts & Crafts style-no slats, but simple square lines and dark finished oak (I'll admit that I used oak veneer plywood for the majority of the things because I didn't want to glue up planks as much as because I didn't want to spend $1000 on simple bookcases.

Actually my friend left a ring from a bottle of cough syrup that permanently soaked into the table and I had to buy a new one (in that pic) and lots of coasters!.

Ha ha. Well guess what, money does not mean taste. Fine, spend $3000 on those tables and be proud they will last 200 years. Problem is your room still looks like absolute **** today and for the next 200 years. Your quality wood and cost does not mean it is classy.

And boy did you make me feel bad about the whole website thing. When I make them I hope they last for 200 years as that is the goal of websites right?
