I purchased two AC adaptors (65W) for my 15" 1G-TiPB in November. Now that I have justified (amazing how good I am at that!) buying the 17" model, I'm wondering if those adaptors will work with the 17" ? I dont remember seeing this data anywhwere.. thanks!

Looks like it will.

Apple Store Website:

"Extra AC Adapter

Designed to be small and .................................................. .............. the system if you choose to operate without a battery.

Important: Only compatible with the PowerBook G4 and iBook with dual USB (500MHz or higher speed)."

It will work. On the 17" powerbook spec sheet it says the power adapter is a 65W one, exactly the spec that you gave.

Enjoy your 17" when you get it...I know I will!!!

Yes. 65W adapter for iBooks and and Powerbook G4 15/17" model. AlumaBook 12" though, needs a special 45W adapter.
