Live8 blows !

I was going to check out the livefeeds on aolmusic.com, and everytime I click on the livefeed, Safari crashes-quits !

Is it just me, or is anybody able to see the feed on their Mac ?

And the VH1-MTV broadcast on TV blows ! They hosts keep talking nonstop while bands are playing. They keep showing the crappy show at Phillidelphia with the mostly crappy lineup, while London is the one worth watching.

VH1 and MTV suck. They've lost their inspiration and meaning for being.

They should revert to 24/7 music.

I h8 anti-Mac sites. They think they are furthering themselves by not being compatible?

I was just looking for the other thread to say exactly the same thing.

The MTV/VH-1 broadcasts are terrible! Both stations are showing the exact same content and presenters are shouting to be heard over the music.

What a disgrace!

Yeah, right now I am listening to some moron called Kanye West talking some crap. Who gives a crap about Kanye West ?

They're worried about people in Africa dying ?

Their broadcast is killing me. 20,000 people have died so far watching the crappy VH1 and MTV broadcast, it is horrible !

And when they do show a whole song it's next to impossible to focus on it because they switch camera angles every 5 seconds!

The Green Day song lost sound like 3 times.

Just what kind of message are they trying to deliver anyway?

Sheesh!

Safari at times does all sorts of weirdness. Try another browser.

I already do have the WMP (worst media player) installed version 9, but it's ok, I'm not going to mess with it anymore, now that I know it is WMP.

Here's an update on the horrible TV broadcast:

They should call it PLAYBACK8, at least as far as certain artists are concerned.

The original live aid was damn good, so far I am pretty disappointed.

You've been watching the wrong feed, obviously.

What I've seen of the London Hyde Park concert was, over the last hour, entirely live - Robbie Williams, the Who, and Pink Floyd (with Roger Waters)...

Works fine in Firefox, btw., after re-installing WMP...

Linkin Park w/Jay-Z was pretty good and I liked Audioslave.

Will Smith's song, "Switch" was surprisingly good. I bought it on itunes after I heard it.

I haven't watched any internet feed. I was referring to the tv broadcast on mtv/vh1.
The idiots cut the end of Pink Floyd off, and now the geniuses also just cut Stevie Wonder off in the middle of a song.

Who in the hell wants to see a couple of dumb VJs interrupt the performances every 10 seconds. The MTV/VH1 broadcast is the worst live concert event coverage in the history of mankind.

I'm sure people will bitorrent the various performances, so I'll just go and grab the ones I want later on.

Yeah, but, as expected, more a historic moment than a memorable performance.

Waters didn't really come off too well.

Ok, I reinstalled WMP, which has been suggested, and now I can watch the AOL feed in Firefox, but has anybody managed to make it full screen ?

I would figure you can just rightclick on the screen or something, but nope, doesn't seem to work.

I chose the highest setting, 320kb or something like that, and it's smooth as can be without any hiccups, it's just a bit tiny.

When I watch the quicktime keynotes, I do it in fullscreen, I expect to see this in fullscreen also. I want to watch it on my tv, it should look fine in fullscreen, probably much better than the crap that was sent on MTV/VH1.

There's nothing wrong with Travis. They're like a rich man's Coldplay.
