though I'm quite happy with FruitMenu - I'll have to take the beta for a spin and see if there's something different in FinderPop X

Yep. I've been testing it for a while. Seems to work just fine. Ironically, just before Turly resumed work on FP, a very similar thing called FolderGlance appeared. That's also worth a look.

This is great -- it takes me back to the OS 9 days. There's a ton of good shareware out there, but nothing with FinderPop's "attitude". It's so. . . pintware.
