Hi! I thought I'd try selling my extra Wii here. Earlier this morning I waited in line for over an hour in order to buy a Wii. I ended up buying two. I'm trying to sell my extra Wii.

The Wii comes with all original items and it's never been opened. Also, I will include the receipt on the buyers request.

I'm asking $400/OBO + shipping.

I only want to sell it through Paypal in order to protect both the buyer and seller. Also, I'm located in Washington State near Bellevue so if you're in the area, you could drop by and we could do the transaction.

Yes, the Wii is still available. I have had some interest from other sources such a CL but nothing is set in stone.

No thank you. I think that's too low considering the completed sales I've seen on eBay and locally for them.

Macboy, I don't think so. I could NEVER let my clammy go and my MBP is my only 'power' machine. Thanks for the inquiry though. If you are looking to buy a clamshell, I am actually trying to sell my old lime clamshell. If you're interested PM me and maybe we can work something out.

Okay

I noticed that most are going for $375-420 on ebay so after the ebay and paypal fees I figured $325 was a decent offer for macnn member.

just for perspective, ebay and paypal fees typically run about 10% of sale price. So if the seller pays $270 (assuming 7% tax) for the wii, then the bare minimum price for just breaking even on ebay is $300.

Hi guys, just as an update:

I sold this locally tonight for $400. That's without eBay fees.

No reason to do any thread crapping. The only reason I made the comments is because someone lowballed me for $325 and then someone made the comment that $325 is a good offer because of paypal fees.

To me $325 is a good offer. I have picked one up for retail in the meantime so even better right? Or should I be greedy and try to make $100 off it now?

Grow up.

It's not thread crapping when you've already made your profit off your readily available gaming console. Besides, my comment was that nobody cares that you avoided ebay, paypal and fees. Just say it's sold and no longer available and leave it at that. Oh, and nobody cares how much Mac crap you have listed in your sig either, unless you're trying to feel better about yourself.

You need to grow up too. Ignoring the fact that his 5 lines of text do violate sig guidelines, many people list their Macs. This is a Mac message board.

I am grown up, I don't have to childishly tell everybody how many toys I have to brag and make myself feel better.
