Okay, so very early this morning, I was adding some stuff to the memory card in my Blackberry Pearl, and when I went to eject the card from the system, everything was okay until a very short time later (like not even a minute, from memory) when I received a Kernel Panic message on screen. This was what I found in the log after rebooting my PowerBook (its a Titanium DVI 867mhz/768 MB/20 GB HDD running 10.4.11):

Obviously, it had something to do with USB, but I'm not sure exactly what it was. It's been running perfectly fine since, so I decided to try and recreate it to get a handle on what happened, as I don't really have anything to lose on this computer (everything important is on my PowerMac). I wasn't able to, but upon checking the log again, I found this:

Could it have just been a one time occurrence, or do either of these point out anything I should change to prevent it in the future?

If you ejected it properly, then it sounds like you were doing the right thing. I wouldn't worry about it unless it keeps happening.
Have you used this memory card with your Mac before?

Repeatedly used it for almost a month (I got my Blackberry very close to the beginning of the month, and the card was purchased at the very same time). I had been connecting it solely to my Sawtooth PowerMac (running 10.2.8) until last week when I started using my PowerBook again, but I've connected it and disconnected it at least a dozen times since then.

Well as long as it's nothing that sounds like it needs to be worried about, then that's good. It didn't really bother me all that much, and in fact was semi-amusing, but I was just trying to figure it out for future reference.

It's interesting that it points to the SCSI driver.
