I got confirmation today. My 1.6 will be here Saturday. I've got an extra gig of RAM waiting to go in, and a 19" LCD. Can't wait.

I ordered through the ADC web store, in case anyone is curious.

Well.. I just checked my email and so has mine!! Sadly the delivery date is 09/09/2003

But at least it's on its way!

Outstanding! Has any tracking info. actually showed up (like ports it's hit, etc.)? Are you sure Apple won't/hasn't updated it to Overnight shipping? On my delayed 17" PB they upgraded it to Overnight w/o my knowledge.

Wow, that's definitely not like Apple to downgrade shipped, escp. if you paid for it...you may be able to get a refund + some compensation if that's actually the case.

I selected the Free Ground Shipping on my 17" PB and I had no idea it was upgraded to Overnight until it arrived at my home at noon the very next day after shipping. It left Taiwain, came to Alaska, went thought customs, and made it all the way to the east coast in NC within a single day...keep an eye on your tracking info. and hopefully it'll progress quicker than expected...does FedEx list the expected arrival date as 9.9.03?

Yes, my estimated arrival date is 09/09/2003. Hmm, maybe I'll have a surprise waiting for me when I come home.. maybe not. So your info did not change until you received the PowerBook? You didn't have an estimated arrival date per se?

The info. that it was gonna be shipped overnight didn't occur to me until *arrived*. My estimated ship date showed a good 3-4 days away, however it arrived the next day...here's to hoping for ya!

The ship date was 9/2 from the beginning, and it shipped on 9/2. I ordered July 1st, so not exactly the first one here, but about a week after the keynote. It was a CTO: I got a Radeon 9600 and dropped the modem. Fedex has the package, and it is scheduled to be delivered Saturday. (Ground, but with Saturday Delivery at least...)
