After doing some research, it seems that many owners of 3G iphones are having reception problems so serious that they often need to turn off 3G on their phones to make calls. AT&T has reportedly extended its return policy to 30 days to accomodate upset customers paying for 3G service but can't use it. One of the largest threads on the Apple forums details people in major cities where 3G coverage should be strong as having few if any bars. What has your experience been? Please state your general location.

I'm in Toronto, ON and I seem to get 3G almost everywhere I go in the city so far but I can see people having problems if they are in the sticks.
